I am really excited to get back in the blogging game; it has been far too long! My goal (I need to write it out so you can all hold me accountable) is to post a couple of times each week about what is going on behind the scenes at Emma Graham and provide some insight as to what our business, culture and community is all about. So here goes the first one…
Over the last few months we have quietly retreated, working hard behind the scenes refining our business based upon the last 18 months of feedback from all of you. We have heard hundreds of requests and answered questions on tons of different topics. All of these interactions have made us realize how important it is to us that customers drive our business. I thought it would be cool to explain why. I hope to be super transparent about what we are up to and continue to encourage the conversation, questions, and amazing feedback that has been coming our way!
Customers Drive Our Business (Part 1 of Many)
By this we do not mean financially. The majority of you want a balance between excellent quality, versatile colorful/fun clothing and clothing that does not break the bank. We know you want to have creative and unique dresses and skirts so you are wearing amazing clothing that is different than your friends. This is why we created a Design Your Own line available on the website. Instead of saying we have X, Y and Z styles in these colors that we have selected for you, we want you to have the ability to create a piece by choosing the style that you want, in the color(s) and with the details you select. We also understand that some customers would rather not go through the process of designing their own dress or skirt. Some customers prefer to leave the creative process to the designers (trust me, I leave all my creative fashion decisions to Emma!), which is why we are thrilled to have Our Favorites; a collection of styles and color combinations that we designed specifically for our customer and are getting great feedback, so thank you! We are already working on ways to improve the Design Your Own feature on the website. In the coming weeks you will have more interactive design options that we think will make this a really cool and unique online experience.
Customer Service goes hand and hand with creating products that are high quality, versatile and unique. I am not going to go in to a long winded explanation about customer service because you really need to experience it first hand! I don’t believe it is something we can talk about, we need to walk the walk. With that said, I invite you to email us (email@example.com) or email me (firstname.lastname@example.org) with any questions that you may have, even if you aren’t ready to purchase. We want each and every one of you to be a part of the Emma Graham community. If you are ready to purchase (and thousands of you already have) keep tabs on everything we are doing; how your order is delivered, how quickly it gets to you, etc. and let us know what you think about the experience. We hope this will show you firsthand our commitment to you. If something isn’t going quite right or your dress doesn’t fit, just email or call us and we will take care of it quickly and efficiently. Our goal with customer service is simple: we want you to be happy and excited to tell your friends about Emma Graham.
